Chrysler has released the first official images of the refreshed Chrysler Pacifica, previewing the updated minivan set to arrive for the 2027 model year. The popular family hauler receives a noticeable exterior redesign, highlighted by an all-new front fascia.

The most striking change is up front. The redesigned Pacifica now features vertically oriented headlights that flow downward along the edges of the front end. These lighting elements are visually connected by a full-width light bar stretching across the upper grille. Integrated into that light bar is Chrysler’s updated winged logo — a simplified emblem first introduced on the 2024 Chrysler Halcyon concept vehicle and now making its way to a production model for the first time.

While Chrysler hasn’t released detailed specifications, the refreshed styling clearly marks a departure from the outgoing model’s slim, horizontal headlights. The new front design also incorporates a large lower grille with intricate chrome detailing. A chrome accent strip runs along the van’s side profile, and the model shown wears a “Pinnacle” badge, indicating it represents the top trim level. Chrysler has yet to reveal the rear design.

Inside, updates are expected as well. Though interior images haven’t been shared, the cabin will likely receive a more contemporary layout with larger displays and updated technology to remain competitive in the segment.

Under the hood, the 3.6-liter V-6 engine is expected to carry over, though it remains unclear whether Chrysler will introduce mechanical upgrades. Earlier this year, parent company Stellantis discontinued its traditional plug-in hybrid models, effectively ending the Pacifica Hybrid variant that paired the V-6 engine with dual electric motors.

However, Chrysler has previously hinted at electrified plans for the Pacifica lineup. In 2024, CEO Christine Feuell stated that a fully electric Pacifica could follow shortly after the updated gasoline version. Whether those plans remain intact is still uncertain.

For now, the refreshed 2027 Pacifica signals renewed momentum for Chrysler, which has relied heavily on the minivan since discontinuing the 300 sedan after the 2023 model year. More details about the updated Pacifica are expected to surface in the coming months.
